'This project was a lesson about form and shape. Order is possible at any level of complexity. If there is no order, it is almost impossible to tell what the work is trying to say'. My chosen principles were Hierarchy, Asymmetry, and Golden Ratio. The Hierarchy shows through the cascading levels of the paper and wooden dowels. The wings themselves are assymetrical by the direction which they turn and the height difference. Lastly, the Golden Ratio is represented through the spirals of the wings - similar to a conch shell.
