Playful Planter

Research of Inner-City schools led me to uncover a handful of prevalent issues. One common theme I saw was the lack of nature inside and outside of the classroom. Not only this, but several food deserts encapsulated most inner-city schools. This learning artifact would educate about gardening, basic biology, spike interest in the classroom, give students something to look forward to, and plant the idea of feeling accomplished into their youthful minds. It would be a closed-loop system of work and reward.
